Temporary Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Edit engaging, broadcast-quality short-form and digital-first videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, and other emerging social channels.

• Identify the most impactful moments from extensive raw footage and craft them into entertaining, audience-centric narratives.

• Collaborate with producers, editors, and the creative team to brainstorm ideas and deliver content that aligns with Delish's voice and visual identity.

• Implement brand style guidelines and creative strategies to enhance storytelling and ensure a polished, cohesive look and feel.

• Participate in pre-production brainstorming sessions and offer creative insights throughout the planning and delivery stages.

• Maintain streamlined post-production workflows, media organization, and storage practices.

• Utilize Adobe Premiere as the primary editing software, along with Adobe Creative Suite tools to enhance video quality and production value.

• Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment while adhering to deadlines and upholding meticulous attention to detail.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of practical post-production experience in broadcast, digital media, film, or a related field.

• Proven experience in editing high-volume, fast-paced video content with outstanding storytelling abilities.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop is advantageous.

• Working knowledge of color correction and best practices in post-production.

• Strong comprehension of production and post-production workflows, media management, and specifications for social platforms.

• Experience in troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite and media storage processes is a plus.

• A keen understanding of evolving social media trends, digital storytelling methods, and editing styles.

• Excellent organizational, collaborative, and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities at once.

• Capability to work independently while positively contributing to a collaborative creative team.
