This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to secure pledges for client initiatives.
• Adhere to provided and client-approved messaging during each call.
• Employ a structured approach to fundraising calls, including relevant political reasoning and transition phrases as necessary.
• Practice responsive listening to offer suitable situational replies.
• Achieve and sustain project objectives and efficiency standards.
• Exhibit outstanding customer service and respond promptly to the individuals being contacted.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Remain focused on the current project and prepare adequately for each call.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Must be available for full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Additional shifts may be necessary during peak periods.
• Must work from within the continental United States.
• Must possess a computer (meeting system requirements), USB headset, web camera, and a wired internet connection (no Wi-Fi).
• Must have a quiet, uninterrupted workspace to ensure professional client interactions.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal communication is vital for telephone fundraisers.
• Voice Clarity and Tone: Fundraisers should have a pleasant, engaging voice with proper pronunciation and diction.
• Stamina: Fundraisers should be prepared to spend extended periods on the phone.
• Manual Dexterity: Basic computer skills are often necessary for data entry and donor information management.
• Hearing and Listening Abilities: Good hearing and active listening skills are crucial for telephone fundraisers.
• Vision Abilities: The primary responsibility of this role is to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer monitor without difficulty.
• Emotional Resilience: Fundraising can be demanding, as fundraisers may face rejection or negative responses.
• Paid Training (weeks 1-3) at $11 per hour (or state minimum wage, whichever is higher).
• The base wage is $16 per hour following the completion of 3 weeks of training, with the potential to earn up to $20 per hour in bonuses.
• A $250 retention bonus is awarded after 4 weeks, contingent on maintaining good standing and performance (working 80 hours in the pay period and above $20 RPH).
• A $500 bonus is available after 7 weeks based on active status in good standing and performance (full-time working at least 64 hours in the pay period).
• Referral bonus program.
