This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
β’ The Account Executive will be a key member of the Local Government (SMG) Sales Team, concentrating on creating and winning new cross-sell sales opportunities.
β’ Develop a market plan, engage in proactive outreach, and navigate through all stages of the sales process, ultimately leading to successful sales closures.
β’ Client partnerships will include small towns, villages, and counties with populations under 180K.
β’ Formulate a detailed sales strategy and business plans to up-sell and cross-sell new products and services to existing client partners within the designated territory.
β’ Recognize market trends, best practices, referrals, and potential new opportunity areas.
β’ Oversee all phases of the sales process from lead generation to successful closure, including cold calls, sales meetings, and product demonstrations.
β’ Demonstrated success in software sales or highly technical consultative sales to businesses or government entities.
β’ A consistent history of exceeding quotas in previous field sales roles.
β’ Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline with deals valued between $10-$50K+ in annual recurring revenue.
β’ Strong knowledge of information technology and various platforms, along with the capacity to quickly learn new technologies (LAN/WAN, web design, network security, and Audio/Visual technology).
β’ Experience collaborating with various levels of customer leadership, from Managers to Directors to C-Level Executives.
β’ Familiarity with government or parliamentary procedures is advantageous.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office product suites.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, closing, organizational, time management, and teamwork abilities.
β’ Self-driven and motivated to achieve success; takes initiative and is willing to go above and beyond.
β’ Quick problem-solving skills.
