Telephone Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to secure pledges for client initiatives.

• Adhere to the messaging approved by clients and provided for each call.

• Employ the structured approach for fundraising calls, utilizing appropriate political justifications and transition phrases as necessary.

• Engage in responsive listening to deliver suitable situational responses.

• Achieve and uphold project objectives and efficiency standards.

• Maintain an 85% occupancy rate.

• Ensure 95% punctuality for shift starts and return from breaks and lunch.

• Uphold 95% adherence to shift schedules/absenteeism.

• Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to the caller's needs.

• Embrace coaching and feedback with a constructive attitude.

• Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance.

• Remain focused on the current project and adequately prepare for each call.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Center Manager.

• Report directly to the Center Manager and Coach.

• Calls will be monitored and recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.

• Full-time availability for day shifts, Monday to Friday, is required.

• Availability for additional shifts may be necessary during peak seasons.

• Employment must be conducted within the continental United States.

• Must possess a computer that meets system requirements, along with a USB headset, web camera, and a wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not allowed.

• A quiet, uninterrupted workspace is essential.

• Passing a background check is mandatory.

• The use of identity masking or anonymization technologies, such as unapproved VPNs, IP spoofing, location masking tools, anonymizers, and proxies, is prohibited.

• Voice changers, accent changers, speech alteration tools, filters, avatars, overlays, and visual effects that modify voice or appearance are not allowed.

• Authentic presentation during training, video meetings, phone calls, and all work-related communications is required.

• Clear and effective verbal communication abilities are essential.

• A pleasant and engaging voice with proper pronunciation and diction is expected.

• Physical stamina for extended calling periods is necessary.

• Basic computer proficiency, typing skills, data entry capabilities, and familiarity with software or database systems are required.

• Good hearing and active listening skills are essential.

• Ability to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer monitor is necessary.

• Quick processing of written materials is expected.

• The ability to multitask while engaging with donors and entering data is crucial.

• Emotional resilience is required when facing rejection or negative responses.

• A high school diploma and/or some college education is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales, outbound fundraising, or outbound collections is required.
