This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Perform virtual medical assessments and examinations.
• Build a rapport and coordinate with the patient’s healthcare provider licensed in the Virgin Islands.
• Formulate a diagnosis utilizing accepted medical methodologies, including, but not limited to, patient history, mental status evaluations, and appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Engage in discussions with the patient regarding any diagnosis, including the risks and advantages of different treatment options.
• Ensure the provision of suitable follow-up care.
• Conduct virtual patient consultations through video calls, phone calls, and secure messaging.
• Complete detailed histories, virtual assessments, diagnoses, and treatment in alignment with standards of practice, care, and established protocols.
• Offer health promotion, wellness initiatives, and patient education (e.g., immunizations, screening protocols, lifestyle changes).
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, health coaches, specialists, and ancillary services for coordinated care.
• Guarantee prompt documentation of visits, treatment plans, referrals, and communications within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Comply with revive platform guidelines and policies, completing all necessary training.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary care teams to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for other clinicians or telehealth support staff as applicable.
• Remain updated on clinical guidelines, optimal telehealth practices, digital health advancements, and pertinent legislative/regulatory changes.
• Ensure all patient documentation meets professional standards, regulatory mandates, and organizational quality and policy benchmarks.
• Maintain credentials, licenses, certifications, and complete required continuing education.
• Follow organizational policies regarding telehealth, prescribing, scope of practice, referral management, and patient safety.
• M.D., D.O., PA, or NP Board certification.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Primary Care, and/or Internal Medicine.
• Current, unencumbered, and unrestricted licenses.
• Availability to conduct visits during regular business hours, with the flexibility to extend hours to include weekends and evenings as necessary.
• Prior experience in delivering quality telehealth urgent or primary medical services.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a productivity target of 3+ patients/hour.
• Familiarity with remote patient monitoring (RPM) technologies, digital health platforms, and asynchronous telehealth workflows is a plus.
• Flexible working hours.
• Potential for occasional in-person training or meetings.
