This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.
• Oversee the portal and conduct scheduled telemedicine consultations.
• Respond to video calls related to pet health issues, mainly focusing on cats and dogs.
• Handle teletriage requests and address inquiries.
• Offer expert advice and reassurance to pet owners.
• Complete follow-up tasks, case documentation, and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to Airvet’s best practices, service level agreements (SLAs), and visit protocols.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance processes and tackle operational challenges.
• Assume additional responsibilities to support the Care Team.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a veterinarian.
• DVM or an equivalent professional degree.
• Valid US state license; preferred licensure in AL, AZ, CA, FL, ID, IN, KS, LA, MA, ME, MO, MS, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VT, and/or VA.
• Availability for at least 4 hours per week.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• Access to a smartphone and either a desktop computer or laptop.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to adhere to training and protocols.
• Comfortable utilizing both desktop and mobile applications.
• Highly skilled in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with sound judgment.
• Flexible in adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic startup atmosphere.
• Excellent communication and creative problem-solving abilities.
