Telemedicine Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Conduct patient appointments using secure video conferencing technology.

• Create personalized treatment plans for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders.

• Prescribe and oversee medications while providing comprehensive patient education regarding side effects and interactions.

• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and modify care plans as necessary.

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of medical records and efficiently manage prescription refills and inquiries.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to guarantee integrated and high-quality patient care.

• Uphold full HIPAA compliance and remain informed about telemedicine regulations and employment laws.

• Swiftly report quality issues and participate in required training to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in mental health, or a minimum of 5 years in primary care, with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating across diverse adult and pediatric populations.

• Diagnostic Mastery: Proficient in utilizing DSM-5 and various assessment tools such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9.

• Tech-Forward: Skilled in EHR systems with a solid understanding of telemedicine regulations specific to different states.

• Patient-Centered: A compassionate communicator with high emotional intelligence, committed to making healthcare accessible to diverse communities.

• Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a dynamic and fast-paced telehealth setting.

• Prior experience in a dedicated telehealth position is strongly preferred.
