This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Conduct group therapy sessions within an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), overseeing a caseload across multiple weekly groups.
β’ Provide individual therapy to assist each patient in progressing through their treatment journey.
β’ Facilitate family engagement sessions to establish support systems and enhance continuity of care.
β’ Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to inform level-of-care decisions and treatment planning.
β’ Create and finalize master treatment plans with tailored, measurable goals in collaboration with patients and the care team.
β’ Utilize clinical judgment in crisis situations, including risk assessments, de-escalation techniques, and suicide risk evaluations.
β’ Maintain communication with referral sources and families to ensure progress and continuity of care.
β’ Coordinate step-down and discharge planning, linking patients to legal, financial, and vocational resources.
β’ Deliver consistent clinical care throughout the patient's enrollment, from intake through discharge.
β’ Ensure comprehensive and timely clinical documentation across all care phases.
β’ An active, unrestricted clinical license β LPC, LCSW, or LMFT is strongly preferred, or an applicable state equivalent.
β’ Associate/Intern-level, pre-licensed credentials are accepted for Professional Counseling, Social Work, and Marriage & Family Therapy tracks.
β’ Licensure in the state of California is required at the time of hire.
β’ A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or a related human services field is necessary.
β’ Active clinical licensure in three or more states is highly preferred.
β’ Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as business needs arise.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience serving SUD and/or MH populations is strongly preferred.
β’ Direct experience at an IOP level of care is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Kipu EMR systems is preferred.
β’ Experience managing a full caseload virtually is preferred.
β’ Working knowledge of clinical standards of care for patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders is essential.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse patient populations.
β’ Sound clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills, including risk assessment and de-escalation capabilities.
β’ Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a keen attention to regulatory and confidentiality standards.
β’ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining close connections with a collaborative care team.
