Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative methodology.

• Apply Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources in patient care.

• Evaluate the nutritional health of patients and create tailored, root-cause care plans.

• Develop and adjust personalized nutrition interventions based on individual patient needs and objectives.

• Accurately document all new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform with a keen eye for detail.

• Address patient inquiries promptly, maintaining a professional and supportive demeanor.

• Work collaboratively with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning experiences.

• Maintain open and effective communication to resolve workplace issues and enhance team outcomes.

• Foster a positive, cooperative team atmosphere and contribute to ongoing clinical initiatives.

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and health.

• Manage a full patient caseload consistently, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain at least 12 hours of weekly availability, with potential to transition into a higher-hour or full-time schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.

• Current registration with CDR is required.

• Must be credentialed or willing to gain credentialing with insurance providers.

• A minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability is necessary, with flexibility and opportunities to increase hours based on your preferences and schedule.

• A PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing are required before starting; this process may take 3–6 months.

• Evening appointment availability is strongly preferred to meet patient demand, with flexibility based on individual scheduling needs.

• CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification is highly preferred.

• IFNA Certification (IFNCP credential is a plus); candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are welcome to apply.
