This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video, providing general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as necessary and related to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources to guarantee consistent care while tailoring approaches to meet patient needs.
• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
• Keep precise and current patient records.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Duties also include charting, addressing patient inquiries, and responding to administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Certification: Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health issues (strongly preferred).
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.
• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care based on current clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
