Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, New Jersey Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe treatment, and monitor patient outcomes via telemedicine.

• Recommend adjustments to treatment plans based on patient reactions to medication and overall treatment results.

• Collaborate with Journey Clinical member psychotherapists in providing comprehensive care.

• Partner with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to optimize your workflow.

• Provide continuous and timely feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to enhance our services.

• Report directly to the Lead Clinician and work alongside the leadership team and co-founders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice in New Jersey.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.

• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric-related experience plus post-board certification.

• Possession of DEA registration.

• Ability to prescribe controlled substances when clinically appropriate.

• Comfortable prescribing for conditions such as anxiety and depression.

• Capable of quickly synthesizing medical and psychiatric information to create effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.

• A patient-first attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

• Willingness to utilize a few simple tools to enhance productivity (e.g., Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).

• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced Telehealth startup environment.

• Interest in the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to revolutionize mental health treatment.
