This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe treatments, and monitor patient outcomes through telemedicine.
• Recommend modifications to treatment plans based on patient responses to medication and overall treatment results.
• Collaborate with Journey Clinical psychotherapists as part of a cohesive care team.
• Partner with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to optimize your workflow.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to enhance our services.
• Directly report to the Lead Clinician and work closely with the leadership team and co-founders.
• Must be licensed to practice in Connecticut.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.
• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric-related experience plus post-boards.
• DEA registration is required.
• Must be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when clinically appropriate.
• Should be able to prescribe for anxiety and depression.
• Ability to quickly integrate medical and psychiatric information to develop effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.
• A patient-first mindset with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering the highest level of patient care.
• Willingness to utilize basic tools to enhance your work efficiency (e.g., Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).
• Comfortable operating in a remote, fast-paced telehealth startup environment.
• A keen interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to revolutionize mental health care.
