Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will develop a panel of patients ensuring continuity of care.

• Deliver empathetic, patient-focused clinical services via our advanced telehealth platform, Weight Watchers Med+.

• Evaluate and discuss patient intake details and medical histories through video and chat consultations to offer suitable clinical recommendations and treatments.

• Foster ongoing relationships with patients through regular assessments and progress updates.

• Inform patients about the scientific aspects of obesity, available treatment options, and necessary lifestyle changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner with a degree from a recognized institution.

• Currently board certified by ANCC or AANP in Family, Adult, or Adult Gerontology.

• Experience in General Practice (including experience in obesity medicine).

• Minimum of 2-3 years of practice experience post-residency.

• At least 1 year of telemedicine experience, with knowledge of both synchronous and asynchronous practices.

• Experience in managing menopause is preferred.

• Proficient in utilizing online tools and technology for care delivery, patient communication, and maintaining an exceptional virtual “bedside” manner.

• Availability of 10-15 hours per week, with a minimum of 8 hours per week for synchronous visits. Must have 2-4 hours available daily, Monday through Friday, for work. Required hours may increase during peak periods.

• Must hold at least 2-3 active state licenses.

• Proficient in Zoom, Google Workspace (G Cal), and Slack.

• Must operate on a system that includes:

• Minimum memory of 16GB.

• OS = Mac and Windows (Not Chrome OS).

• Mac OS 26.0 or higher.

• Windows 11.
