This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct 15-minute synchronous video consultations for patients with a BMI of 25–27, ensuring sessions start promptly as scheduled.
• Clearly document clinical decisions to ensure seamless follow-up by another clinician without the need for clarification.
• Make prescribing decisions, including redirecting or declining, based on clinical validity.
• Engage in consent discussions and accurately document any unlicensed and off-label prescribing in accordance with GMC good practice guidelines.
• Integrate shared decision-making with independent verification whenever feasible.
• Assess patients for eating disorder risks, pregnancy, and contraindications; escalate any red flags within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Participate in case reviews and peer evaluations, and implement actions based on audit results.
• Highlight edge cases and protocol discrepancies to the Medical Lead and Clinical Product team.
• Work under the clinical supervision of Prof Frank Joseph and report directly to Saim Dalvi, Chief Clinical Strategy Officer.
• Full GMC registration with a valid licence to practise.
• Must be listed on the GP Register.
• Current revalidation along with a clean professional record.
• Proficient understanding of off-label prescribing responsibilities in alignment with GMC Good practice in prescribing and managing medications.
• Experience in telehealth or remote consultations.
• Exceptional documentation abilities.
• Reliable in maintaining scheduled consultations on time.
• UK-based with the right to work.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Availability for 5–10 sessions per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Proven ability to decline a paying patient while documenting the reasoning behind the decision.
• Preferred experience in GLP-1 prescribing or structured weight management.
• SCOPE certification or other formal training in obesity medicine is preferred.
• Experience with another leading digital-first provider is preferred.
• Leadership experience in audit or quality improvement is preferred.
• Comfort with a protocol that evolves monthly is preferred.
• £15 per hour in equity.
• Initial training provided on protocols, ClinicOS, and the pathway.
• Indemnity coverage provided by Bolt.
• Audit data, case mix summary, and complaints record supplied for NHS appraisal documentation.
• Fully remote video clinics, with sessions arranged around existing commitments.
