
Telehealth Family Nurse Practitioner – Eating Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee a substantial patient case-load.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of eating disorders alongside co-occurring psychiatric conditions (psychiatric consultation is available).
• Execute medication treatment strategies for eating disorders and related conditions in a telehealth environment.
• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, as well as external providers.
• Use between-session messaging to assist patients and liaise with the treatment team via Equip EMR, adhering to Equip’s guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and departmental gatherings.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Must hold an active license in New York.
• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Capability to maintain active Family Nurse Practitioner licenses and pursue cross-licensing as necessary (Equip will cover licensing costs).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient context, with a preference for Primary Care experience.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional evidence-based care, enhancing clinical expertise, and a dedication to professional growth.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their caregivers, responding to messages promptly.
• Show curiosity, a love for learning, and actively engage in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
