Telehealth Family Nurse Practitioner – Eating Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee a substantial patient case-load effectively.

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders alongside co-occurring psychiatric conditions (psychiatric consultation available).

• Execute medication treatment strategies for eating disorders and related conditions in a virtual clinic (i.e., telehealth) environment.

• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team, including physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.

• Use between-session messaging to assist patients and liaise with the treatment team via Equip EMR, adhering to Equip’s policies and procedures.

• Participate actively in treatment team meetings, supervision, and departmental discussions.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

• Ability to maintain active Family Nurse Practitioner licenses and pursue cross-licensing as necessary (Equip will cover licensing costs).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting, with a preference for Primary Care experience.

• Show dedication to delivering high-quality evidence-based care, enhancing clinical skills, and a strong desire for professional growth.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their caregivers, ensuring timely responses to messages.

• Possess curiosity, a love for learning, and a willingness to engage enthusiastically and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
