Telehealth Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Perform a thorough evaluation of clients’ presenting challenges, create a treatment plan designed to address identified concerns, and facilitate referrals to long-term treatment and/or community resources when clinically suitable.

• Manage a full-time caseload of appointments each day.

• Employ brief, solution-focused interventions to tackle the clients’ presenting issue.

• Ensure the safety of clients who are at risk of harming themselves or others.

• Confirm that all clients are appropriately referred to long-term treatment, when clinically warranted, utilizing their benefit plans and/or community resources.

• Keep current documentation for all client interactions in the ComPsych system according to established procedures and protocols.

• Continuously enhance professional knowledge by reviewing trends in telehealth counseling, effective treatment methods, and evidence-based interventions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• An independent clinical license is necessary.

• Experience in delivering direct clinical services and solution-focused therapy is required.

• Familiarity with treatment issues and behavioral health services is essential.

• Outstanding communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on customer service and sound clinical judgment.

• Quick-thinking, high-energy, positive, and professional demeanor, with demonstrated multi-tasking and critical thinking capabilities.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical counseling experience is required.

• Must have high-speed internet and a workspace that is free from distractions, disruptions, or noise.

• Ability to be on camera during work-related training sessions, meetings, and/or events.

• Must be capable of sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer.
