• Oversee the pricing and quotation process for RFPs, RFQs, and tailored pricing inquiries across various vendors and regions.
• Collaborate across departments such as Product, Service Delivery, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to ensure precise pricing and alignment with margin objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with global telecom carriers, service providers, and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with carriers to secure a competitive market stance while safeguarding margins.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization through management of access costs, offsetting ETLs, and minimizing pass-through fees.
• Assist in the onboarding and integration of new carriers into the quoting framework, ensuring that systems, portals, and processes are current.
• Deliver comprehensive analyses of carrier quotes, emphasizing risks, dependencies, and potential savings.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and adherence to internal policies and external vendor agreements.
• Monitor market trends, carrier promotions, and industry benchmarks to maintain competitive quoting practices.
• Support the reporting of quoting KPIs (turnaround time, win rates, cost savings, vendor performance).
• Escalate vendor or quoting issues as needed while preserving strong professional relationships.
• Collaborate positively with colleagues, adhering to 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
• Handle company data and information responsibly in accordance with Company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies.
• Review and comply with company policies and guidelines, including data privacy practices, annual compliance training certification, and policy acknowledgments.
• 5+ years of experience in the telecom industry, specifically in quoting, pricing, or procurement of services such as DIA, MPLS, Ethernet, SD-WAN, Wavelengths, or Cloud Connectivity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage quoting processes at scale for both single-site and multi-site enterprise opportunities.
• Strong negotiation skills with vendors, proven success in achieving cost reductions and advantageous terms.
• Familiarity with quoting platforms, procurement systems, and carrier portals (e.g., Connectbase, MEF, direct carrier quoting systems).
• Strong financial acumen, capable of analyzing quotes, margins, and cost structures effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the skill to present findings and sway decisions at all organizational levels.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, adept at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in high-pressure situations.
• Experience working with global vendors and a solid understanding of international quoting and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting; capable of tracking quoting KPIs and vendor performance.
• A proactive problem-solver who can take initiative with minimal supervision.
• Must have legal eligibility to work in the assigned country without requiring visa sponsorship.
