This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Play an essential role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing our Workday HCM ecosystem.
• Collaborate across Core HCM modules and Integrations, working closely with the People Team, Payroll, and IT stakeholders.
• Ensure that our Workday environment remains accurate, compliant, and scalable.
• Convert business requirements into robust Workday solutions while promoting a seamless and user-friendly experience.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing Workday integrations, ensuring precision, stability, and prompt issue resolution.
• Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new integrations.
• Lead the design, configuration, and upkeep of Core HCM foundational elements.
• Develop and enhance intricate Business Processes (BPs).
• Act as the primary owner for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets.
• Oversee mass data updates in Workday using EIBs.
• Perform regular system health checks, audits, and root-cause analyses.
• Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Workday Absence module.
• Manage absence plans and configurations.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of practical experience in Workday HCM, particularly in system configuration and functional administration.
• At least 3 years of direct experience managing the Workday Absence module.
• Proven expertise in:
• Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs)
• Reporting, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Business process configuration and Security
• Experience with Workday Extend is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Workday Help) to manage and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalations.
• A naturally inquisitive mindset, adopting a proactive approach to exploring new functionalities and identifying optimization and automation opportunities.
• Strong comprehension of HR processes and their translation into effective Workday configurations and functionalities.
• Proven capability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong aptitude for identifying and implementing process improvements across HR operations.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences.
