This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, implement, and maintain enterprise voice solutions, including Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, and Operator Connect.
• Oversee and manage POTS lines for life-safety systems and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Administer SIP trunking services, focusing on call routing, failover strategies, and quality enhancement.
• Provide support for auto attendants, call queues, voicemail systems, E911 services, and number administration.
• Handle cellular services, including provisioning, carrier plans, and lifecycle management.
• Deliver Tier 2/3 support and conduct root-cause analysis for telecommunications issues.
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors to ensure effective service delivery and escalation processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including call flows, inventories, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure adherence to compliance regulations such as E911, Kari's Law, and RAY BAUM's Act.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in enterprise telecom or voice engineering.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Teams Voice.
• Profound understanding of POTS, SIP, and PSTN connectivity.
• Experience in collaborating with telecom carriers.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Direct Routing SBCs.
• Knowledge and experience with E911 solutions.
• Understanding of legacy PBX systems.
• Relevant telecom or Microsoft certifications.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
• Proximity to a Legence office location is preferred.
