Technology Infrastructure Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main relationship manager for the technology Managed Service Provider (MSP).

• Oversee Microsoft licensing, ensuring compliance and optimization.

• Manage and enhance cloud-based as well as hybrid technology infrastructure.

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, which include Intune, SharePoint Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, and Exchange Online.

• Supervise endpoint management and ensure device compliance via Microsoft Intune.

• Guarantee the availability, security, performance, and scalability of infrastructure services.

• Handle the procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, refresh planning, and retirement of employee technology equipment.

• Create and maintain processes for employee onboarding and offboarding.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity stakeholders on security controls, monitoring, patching, and vulnerability management.

• Assist with audit, compliance, risk management, and SOC 2 certification efforts.

• Promote continuous improvement within infrastructure and technology operations.

• Evaluate infrastructure, security, applications, licensing, and technology risks related to acquisition targets.

• Develop and implement integration plans for newly acquired companies.

• Coordinate technology consolidation, migrations, infrastructure standardization, tenant integration, endpoint transitions, and user onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations.

• Preferably experienced in the retirement or financial services sector.

• Proven experience managing and collaborating with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Teams, and Exchange Online.

• Experience in managing Microsoft licensing and subscription environments.

• Familiarity with administering cloud infrastructure platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.

• Experience overseeing endpoint security, patching, compliance, and device management.

• Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, asset management, and laptop inventory controls.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving strategic results.

• Capability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong customer-service orientation.
