This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Act as the technical intermediary among customers, partner organizations, and the internal sales team.
• Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams, the local Field Sales group, and both internal and external Arrow resources.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with customer engineering teams, spanning from CTOs to R&D engineers.
• Recognize new development initiatives and assist them from product conception to production commencement.
• Guide the technical direction and priorities of customer projects in alignment with Arrow’s strategy, supplier offerings, and market dynamics.
• Create optimal technical and commercial system solutions.
• Enhance business opportunities through focused project engagement with strategic clients.
• Offer on-site technical consulting and assistance in the design and selection of system components, particularly semiconductors for industrial embedded and HMI systems, including software aspects.
• Provide technical support to the field sales team.
• Organize and conduct training sessions and technical meetings for customers and suppliers, as well as internal training for the local Field Sales team when necessary.
• A degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a similar qualification, along with at least five years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience as a technical point of contact.
• Familiarity with electronics, hardware, or firmware development is advantageous.
• Experience in selecting and implementing microprocessors, processors, and FPGAs for industrial electronics is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing abilities.
• Understanding of customer system architectures.
• Strong teamwork capabilities complemented by a high level of self-motivation.
• A solid focus on sales and customer engagement, with an eye for business opportunities and innovation.
• Experience utilizing AI-based systems to enhance efficiency in developing solutions and analyzing data.
• Knowledge of robotics, TinyML, Zephyr OS, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and cybersecurity is desirable.
• A strong curiosity and passion for new technologies and their practical applications.
• A hands-on approach and enthusiasm for developing demonstrators using embedded hardware and software.
• Willingness to travel within Germany.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
