Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Performing fundamental laboratory tests, installing and maintaining equipment, transferring chemicals, and monitoring processes at client locations.

• Keeping precise inventory records, documenting findings, supporting client operations, and ensuring safety in an industrial setting.

• Carrying out routine testing and monitoring at client sites, including data entry and assisting in the preparation of service reports.

• Engaging directly with customers to identify and resolve issues related to chemical programs or equipment functionality.

• Overseeing product inventory, including deliveries to processing units and unloading chemicals into customer storage tanks.

• Modifying chemical feed rates based on regular testing and monitoring to guarantee optimal treatment effectiveness.

• Notifying site managers or support engineers about customer concerns, operational issues, or potential improvements and aiding in troubleshooting efforts.

• Conducting detailed process testing to uncover dosage optimization possibilities or mechanical influences affecting performance.

• Installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting monitoring and feed apparatus.

• Collaborating with the site team and clients to ensure excellent program performance and customer satisfaction.

• Executing mechanical and electrical equipment repairs as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.

• Experience in chemical handling, water treatment, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance is advantageous but not essential.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the Akron/Massillon area.
