Technical Writer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborating across different functions to research, plan, write, and publish technical documentation.

• Partnering with both technical and non-technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to create, organize, and author manuals, specifications, and process documentation.

• Preparing source files for editing, SME review, and publication in accordance with departmental procedures, including adherence to Agile methodologies.

• Acquiring a thorough understanding of products and services to convert complex information into clear, polished, and engaging content.

• Creating content in alternative media formats for optimal usability, ensuring a consistent voice across all documentation.

• Collaborating with development and support leads to identify the most effective solutions for data presentation and user interaction.

• Developing, managing, and refining information architecture templates that comply with organizational standards, facilitating seamless data migration and efficient updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree and 1 to 3 years of experience in technical writing.

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and wiki platforms, along with an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Proven experience collaborating with engineers to enhance user experience (UX), refine content, and produce visuals for technical support.

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is required.

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English are essential.

• Experience in creating documentation and procedure manuals for diverse audiences.
