Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate the development of user manuals, API documentation, and internal knowledge repositories.

• Manage the editing, formatting, and version control processes of technical documents and manuals.

• Effectively communicate with both internal teams and external stakeholders across various time zones.

• Keep precise records of documentation updates, review cycles, and publishing timelines.

• Utilize relevant tools including Confluence, Notion, Markdown editors, and other documentation platforms.

• Assist the broader team with process documentation, release notes, and training resources.

• Discover ways to simplify intricate technical content and enhance the quality of documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing, content writing, or a similar discipline.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational abilities with a capability to manage several documentation projects at once.

• Proficient in documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, or equivalent platforms.

• Capable of working independently and effectively managing your own schedule.

• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset towards problem-solving.

• Experience working with clients or employers based in the UK is a plus.

• Must possess a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
