This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

• Provide technical training to Genetec customers, resellers, distributors, and internal personnel.

• Revise existing training materials to align with updates in new product launches.

• Develop training presentations, manuals, course outlines, and digital resources.

• Assist in enhancing training documentation and tools.

• Keep an up-to-date, comprehensive understanding of Genetec’s products and their functionalities.

• Engage in classroom setup, lab and exam grading, and follow up on course inquiries.

• Lead instructor-led technical courses utilizing servers, clients, networks, and devices.

• Conduct online instructor-led sessions using a cloud-based virtual platform and LMS.

• Relay course feedback to internal teams for improvements in processes and products.

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to various audiences, ranging from end-users to administrators.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in delivering technical training, ideally in software.

• Willingness and ability to travel for training delivery up to 75% of the time.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

• Proficient in verbal and written English communication; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and virtual machines.

• Solid grasp of networking principles and IP configuration.

• Familiarity with database concepts and client-server environments.

• Experience in technical troubleshooting techniques.

• Knowledge of physical access control systems.

• Experience with video management systems.

• Experience in online training delivery, e-learning, and LMS platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and cybersecurity concepts is an advantage.
