This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Evaluate the compatibility of requested Unity software with the intended usage and the laboratory IT infrastructure of customers.
• Effectively convey technical requirements and solutions to both IT staff and laboratory personnel.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Unity Software Products, including an understanding of version distinctions and specific prerequisites.
• Offer technical advice on requirements related to operating systems, permissions, access needs, network and integration specifications, SQL necessities, connectivity solutions, as well as data file evaluation and analysis.
• Support the onboarding process of Unity projects across various departments and locations within client organizations.
• Utilize IT expertise pertaining to Unity software, encompassing operating systems, SQL, network hardware, virtual environments, and communication protocols (TCP/IP, RS232), along with data formats (HL7, ASTM).
• Install Unity software products using specialized knowledge of transformers, channels, and integration with hardware, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and middleware solutions.
• Enhance laboratory workflows and improve performance by integrating a range of instruments and platforms with Unity software.
• Configure and map software functionalities, collaborating closely with laboratory staff to meet diverse data requirements.
• Follow established procedures while examining and documenting technical issues and partnering with clients on the deployment and functionality of Unity Software Solutions.
• Confirm successful data transmission and integration with Unity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science, or a related technical discipline, OR an Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of preferred experience in a Customer Support role within a computer, customer service, or technical services environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage project timelines effectively.
• Capability to articulate technical knowledge clearly for troubleshooting product-related issues.
