
Technical Support Specialist – Bilingual French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Assist partners, customers, sales representatives, and internal teams via various communication channels including phone, chat, and email.
• Offer technical knowledge regarding database setup, user management, rules and reporting, device errors, network communications, portal configuration, and product implementation.
• Identify and resolve technical hardware and software challenges related to connectivity, installation, and platform inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal departments on the return and exchange process for Geotab devices and accessories.
• Ensure successful resolution of all customer complaints and escalate urgent issues to management.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of customer data and information.
• Support Geotab’s global strategic initiatives.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in both English and French.
• A Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is highly regarded.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service or technical support roles.
• 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting technical hardware and/or software issues.
• Advanced Excel skills including the creation of pivot tables and reports.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, C#, or JavaScript is highly valued.
• Knowledge of data warehouses such as Google BigQuery is highly regarded.
• Technical proficiency using Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Comfortable communicating with customers via telephone, email, and chat.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Must keep up-to-date with technological advancements and possess the flexibility to adapt to evolving market demands.
• Experience in a technical or engineering organization is an advantage.
• Availability to work any schedule in a 24/7 environment, including afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
