This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• This role is entirely remote.

• Ensure our digital presence remains secure, current, and optimized for both performance and SEO.
• Oversee website text, images, videos, and downloadable assets.
• Install, configure, and manage new plugins, themes, or features as necessary.
• Publish and enhance landing pages, blog posts, and product/service content.
• Guarantee that all new content is mobile-responsive and adheres to brand guidelines.
• Conduct regular updates to the CMS (e.g., WordPress), plugins, themes, and PHP version.
• Perform minor code adjustments (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) to improve functionality.
• Maintain a staging environment for testing updates prior to deployment in production.
• Establish and oversee automated backup systems.
• Identify and resolve conflicts among plugins, themes, and core software.
• Address broken layouts, 404 errors, JavaScript issues, and database connection errors.
• Restore the website from backups in the event of critical failures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain third-party integrations (e.g., CRM, email marketing, payment gateways, inventory feeds).
• Monitor and debug API data feeds to ensure accurate real-time data exchange.
• Collaborate with external vendors to resolve integration-related challenges.
• Implement security hardening strategies (firewalls, file permissions, login protection).
• Conduct regular malware scans and vulnerability assessments.
• Respond to and address security breaches or suspicious activities.
• Provide ongoing consulting for website projects (e.g., architecture improvements, user flow optimization).
• Execute technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes (site speed, structured data, meta tags, indexing).
• Suggest and implement growth-oriented enhancements to boost conversions and traffic.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in website management, webmaster, or technical support roles.
• Proficient in a major CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Drupal, or Joomla) – with a strong preference for WordPress.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP/JavaScript for minor modifications.
• Experience in troubleshooting conflicts between plugins/themes and managing API integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices (Yoast/Rank Math, schema markup, core web vitals).
• Understanding of fundamental website security principles (SSL, firewalls, hardening techniques).
• Nice to Have: Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify).
• Knowledge of cloud hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, Kinsta, WP Engine).
• Basic server administration skills (cPanel, SSH, database management via phpMyAdmin).
