Technical Support Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct troubleshooting over the phone, diagnosing, and repairing complex technical issues through remote access for both Mac and Windows systems.

• Address issues such as slow computer performance, operating system reinstallation, Mac recovery, PC resets, malware and virus removal, driver updates, and email problems, particularly with Microsoft Outlook.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to hard drives, RAM, and power supplies.

• Address network and internet challenges, browser issues with Google Chrome, and crashes in PC games.

• Set up printers on WiFi connections and troubleshoot printer driver issues.

• Provide prompt solutions, document issues thoroughly, and ensure comprehensive follow-ups with customers.

• Use sales techniques to upsell support packages after service resolution.

• Exhibit organization, punctuality, and reliability as essential professional qualities.

• Expertise in troubleshooting both Mac and Windows operating systems.

• Proficient in resolving a wide range of technical issues.

• Strong sales skills with experience in upselling products and services.

• Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.

• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to adhering to schedules.

• Capability to work full-time hours, including availability on weekends.

• Primary internet connection must have a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.

• Backup internet connection should provide at least 10 Mbps.

• Desktop or laptop must be equipped with at least an Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.

• Minimum of 8 GB RAM is required.

• Must meet or exceed the performance standards of an Intel Core i3 processor.
