This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Address telephone, written, and email inquiries from stakeholders, registered businesses, and the general public.

• Offer clear and professional technical guidance on gas safety, related building industries, and ACS matters.

• Assist Gas Safe Register departments by providing accurate technical guidance to ensure adherence to legislation and industry standards.

• Conduct research, compose, review, and edit technical articles, publications, and bulletins.

• Stay informed about industry developments, technical standards, and regulatory changes.

• Provide coverage and support across technical areas as needed.

• Promote the Gas Safe Register in a positive manner throughout the gas industry, related trades, and the general public.

• A minimum of eight years’ experience in the gas industry.

• City & Guilds, NVQ, or an equivalent qualification in gas service engineering.

• Valid ACS proof of competence.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the gas industry and associated technical standards.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, Building Regulations, and other pertinent legislation.

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally.

• Capability to gather information, research topics, and utilize evidence for effective decision-making.

• Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Proficient knowledge and confidence in using computer-based systems.
