This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Deliver expert-level remote troubleshooting assistance for freeze dryer machinery through phone, email, and digital platforms.
• Identify and resolve intricate mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and control system challenges.
• Provide support to field service engineers during escalated issues and critical situations.
• Serve as a primary escalation contact for urgent technical matters.
• Ensure swift resolution in accordance with service response expectations.
• Collaborate with regional service teams to effectively resolve customer concerns.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and service bulletins.
• Assist in delivering training for field service engineers and distributors.
• A degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in service or technical support for complex equipment.
• Significant experience with freeze dryer systems is highly preferred.
• A background in refrigeration systems, vacuum systems, and process equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for refrigeration systems, vacuum systems, and PLC controls.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs / process diagrams.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and remote support systems.
