This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee networks, servers, IT services, and security notifications
• Monitor dashboards and alerts for system performance
• Initiate, document, and manage technical support tickets
• Address incidents related to the services provided
• Revise technical documentation and maintain operational records
• Generate reports on events and incidents
• Assist with planned modifications to the infrastructure
• Monitor metrics in accordance with service levels and categories
• Relay incident updates to clients and users concerning networks, services, or security
• Aid in the management of infrastructure assets
• Confirm backups and routine maintenance procedures
• Conduct tests and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Experience in a NOC or Level 1 (N1) or Level 2 (N2) Technical Support position at an ISP, carrier, or systems integrator
• Understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols
• Familiarity with optical network infrastructure, including backbone, FTTH, or transport
• Proficiency in CLI access for devices such as Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Ciena, Nokia, MikroTik, or similar
• Capability to analyze issues within optical networks and conduct physical-layer troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills for providing remote customer support and logging technical incidents
• Willingness to work night shifts in a 24x7 rotation
• Educational background: Technician in network administration or a related field
