This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You serve as the primary contact for our customers regarding intricate technical questions about their hosting products via ticketing, LiveChat, and phone.
• You help customers with configuration and troubleshooting tasks in Plesk and cPanel, such as email setup, SSL problems, and PHP settings.
• You are proficient in using the Linux command line to analyze log files (Apache, Nginx, mail logs) and to pinpoint the root causes of incidents directly.
• You clarify complex issues in a comprehensible manner and offer suggestions to enhance customers' websites.
• You collaborate closely with our system administration team on global optimizations that you identify from daily support activities.
• Hosting experience: You have previously worked in a web hosting setting and are familiar with the common challenges faced by customers.
• Panel know-how: You possess substantial experience in operating and managing Plesk (Onyx/Obsidian) and cPanel from a user standpoint.
• Strong Linux knowledge: You are comfortable with the command line and understand how to adjust kernel parameters and services.
• Solution-oriented: You focus on providing stable, scalable solutions rather than fixating on problems.
• Communication skills: You appreciate direct customer interaction, maintain patience even in challenging situations, and articulate precise responses.
• Language: You are fluent in German and can comprehend technical documentation in English.
