This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with internal teams, educational organization partners, educational staff, external providers, and platform teams to thoroughly understand operational requirements.
• Create detailed mappings of workflows, systems, handovers, data flows, permissions, reporting requirements, and dependencies.
• Identify manual processes, redundancies, missing information, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
• Engage with external providers and platform partners to comprehend their capabilities, APIs, data models, documentation, technical specifications, and limitations.
• Analyze the methods of data capture, transformation, reporting, and utilization across operational workflows.
• Convert findings into business requirements, functional specifications, data needs, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
• Specify how products, workflows, and integrations should function, detailing roles, rules, data inputs, outputs, exceptions, and edge cases.
• Collaborate with engineers during development to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, assess trade-offs, and adapt workflows or specifications as necessary.
• Assist in product discovery, platform assessments, proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot testing, and stakeholder validation.
• Conduct testing of products, workflows, automations, data outputs, and integrations prior to broader implementation.
• Confirm with stakeholders that the solutions delivered meet the initial requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, workflows, decisions, risks, feedback, changes, and outstanding questions.
• Over 3 years of experience in technical business analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, implementation, product operations, technical consulting, process improvement, or a related field.
• Proven experience working directly with users, operational stakeholders, partners, suppliers, external providers, or platform teams.
• Proficient in asking detailed questions, uncovering hidden requirements, and transforming vague needs into structured, testable documentation.
• Comfortable discussing integrations, APIs, data flows, data structures, permissions, reporting, platform limitations, and technical dependencies.
• Confident in managing data-intensive workflows and understanding how data drives reporting, operations, and decision-making.
• Experience in investigating software platforms beyond promotional materials to identify practical limitations, risks, and dependencies.
• Proven ability in creating requirements documents, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
• Strong judgment in balancing stakeholder needs, operational feasibility, technical constraints, and delivery efforts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Confident in engaging with diverse individuals and capable of building trust through effective communication and diligent follow-through.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping, workflow automation, or contemporary product discovery tools is advantageous.
• Fully remote, Europe.
