This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical assistance to the program manager while ensuring adherence to program quality control and accreditation standards.
• Perform both onsite and desk audits in alignment with established standards and program requirements, following ISO 9001 auditing protocols.
• Complete audits within the agreed timeframes, utilizing the most current program templates.
• Assist in the documentation, communication, and resolution of audit findings.
• Keep track of the audit timeline and maintain records for each assessment project.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the audit process.
• Communicate promptly with SCS staff regarding audit scheduling and any revisions to draft reports.
• Provide certification services in compliance with SCS Corporate and Program Quality standards.
• Assist program staff in the development and testing of new program templates as necessary.
• A Bachelor's Degree in quantitative sciences (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry) coupled with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional and technical background in manufacturing within the consumer electronics, metals, plastics recycling, textile/apparel, building materials, or other pertinent industries, or auditing experience.
• Exceptional skills in technical writing, observation, and data management.
• Strong communication abilities complemented by demonstrated critical thinking and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in English, with experience in professional and technical verbal and written communications with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment by completing complex tasks and deliverables punctually.
• Highly detail-oriented with the capacity to interpret standard requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced expertise in Excel is required.
• Initiative and the ability to work independently while being responsive and adaptable within a team setting.
• Preferred qualifications: Lead Auditor certification in ISO 14001 or 9001; bilingual or multilingual capabilities in Spanish, Mandarin, German, or French.
