Technical Specialist – App Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and enhance high-throughput Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and dependability.

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning models into existing enterprise systems utilizing Java-native AI frameworks (e.g., Spring AI, LangChain4j).

• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI patterns, autonomously linking AI systems with internal enterprise data and external APIs.

• Architect and oversee optimal data solutions across relational (SQL) databases and vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Pinecone, Elasticsearch) to facilitate AI memory and context.

• Engage in architectural decisions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor junior developers, and uphold clean code standards.

• Leverage modern AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve coding efficiency, testing, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend development.

• In-depth expertise in Core Java, Java 17+, and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security).

• Practical experience in integrating AI/ML models into production applications.

• Familiarity with Spring AI, LangChain4j, or AI platform APIs is highly preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries, performance optimization, and working with NoSQL or vector databases.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
