Technical Specialist – Active Medical Devices

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze technical and clinical documentation related to medical devices.

• Oversee certification processes for manufacturers of medical devices.

• Offer specialized regulatory, operational, and strategic assistance.

• Execute CE marking schemes for medical devices.

• Provide expert leadership and mentorship to personnel in the medical device field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in healthcare products or similar areas.

• At least two years of experience in the design, production, testing, or application of medical devices.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field pertinent to the medical device industry.

• Knowledge of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and/or Medical Devices Directive 96/42/EEC.

• Familiarity with the IEC 60601 series of standards and ISO 14971.

• Comprehension of design control principles and risk management.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
