📋 Description

• Design comprehensive solutions across the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem, as well as the integrated systems.

• Make informed design choices, balancing configuration, extension, and custom development to identify the optimal approach for each requirement.

• Implement and assist in refining technical standards to ensure maintainability, performance, security, and supportability.

• Contribute to architectural frameworks and roadmaps that align with business goals.

• Support, configure, and enhance the collection of production model-driven and canvas applications.

• Create server-side plugins, custom workflow activities, web resources, and client-side scripts.

• Develop custom components, services, and automation where platform configuration falls short.

• Produce clear, maintainable, and well-documented code that the team can confidently build upon.

• Design and oversee integrations between Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure services, and external business systems.

• Create and manage integration patterns, including Dual-write, REST and Web APIs, and event-driven automation.

• Participate in integration design discussions as system boundaries evolve.

• Ensure data integrity and process accuracy across interconnected systems.

• Contribute to platform migration and modernization efforts across the application suite.

• Align legacy business processes with modern platform capabilities, making informed decisions on building, buying, and configuring rather than defaulting to legacy designs.

• Collaborate with data migration stakeholders, emphasizing platform and process integrity while they manage data logistics.

• Work within and enhance the solution layering, environment strategy (DEV / UAT / PROD), and deployment pipelines.

• Utilize source control, CI/CD, and release management methodologies using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

• Facilitate structured incremental delivery throughout testing, UAT, and production stabilization.

• Assist in expanding capabilities beyond the existing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform scope into the larger Microsoft cloud and custom development ecosystem.

• Assess and recommend new technologies, programming languages, and tools that align with strategic objectives.

• Contribute to the engineering standards and culture of the team, while supporting the development of junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solution architecture and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) (managed and unmanaged layering, publisher strategy, environment management).

• Integration design (REST and Web APIs, Dataverse, event-driven automation).

• Strong development capabilities in:

• C# and .NET (plugins, custom workflow activities, services).

• JavaScript and TypeScript (client-side scripting and web resources).

• SQL (querying and data manipulation).

• PowerShell and Power Fx.

• Experience with source control, CI/CD, and deployment using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.

• Proven ability to read, extend, and maintain existing solutions, not just new builds.
