Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in qualifying and finalizing opportunities with clients and partners.

• Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical assessments.

• Collaborate with the sales team to present Redpanda to prospective customers.

• Conduct product and solution briefings.

• Create proof-of-concepts (POCs).

• Execute live product demonstrations.

• Develop prototypes for Redpanda integrations.

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams to address customer challenges and enhance the customer experience.

• Recognize and tackle key technical objections from customers.

• Formulate strategies to overcome barriers to adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-8+ years of experience in leading presentations, gathering requirements, developing solution architectures, and instructing prospective users or project teams on the use of similar software.

• Proficient in developing and prototyping solutions using Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript.

• Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies; experience with the Kafka ecosystem is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in presenting technical concepts, including whiteboarding.

• Comfortable working with Linux and Kubernetes.

• Skilled in one or more cloud providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Ability to foster relationships with partners, customers, and open-source users.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, events, or conferences.

• Must currently reside in the United Kingdom, as specified by the application requirements.
