This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and manage the internal lab environment that supports Omnissa solutions, including Horizon, Workspace ONE, and associated platform components.
• Execute Day 2 operations across lab infrastructure, which encompasses monitoring, patching, upgrades, and resolving issues.
• Sustain and enhance Horizon environments across various platforms: vSphere / vCenter, AWS Workspaces, Core Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, and emerging platforms (OpenShift, OpenStack as applicable).
• Oversee and support essential Horizon components such as Horizon Universal Console, Unified Access Gateway (UAG), App Volumes, RDSH environments, and ThinApp.
• Manage and troubleshoot Workspace ONE components, which include UEM / Device Management, Access and Identity services, Hub Services and Connectors, as well as Mobile Threat Defense integrations.
• Supervise the lifecycle management of gold images (creation, maintenance, optimization, and versioning).
• Handle application packaging and delivery across lab environments.
• Maintain identity and directory integrations, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Administer cloud infrastructure and services through the Azure Portal and other cloud platforms.
• Support and maintain networking configurations, which consist of load balancing, routing, and security components such as F5, NSX, and firewalls.
• Monitor the health of the lab and respond to operational alerts and patching workflows (e.g., ticket-driven updates).
• Ensure lab environments stay stable, current, and aligned with the latest product releases and architectures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., Confluence), ensuring it is accurate and usable for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Field teams to validate new features, integrations, and architectures within the lab.
• Continuously seek opportunities to expand, automate, and enhance lab capabilities to boost efficiency and scalability.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in VDI, endpoint management, or enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon platforms and their supporting components.
• Experience in managing vSphere / vCenter environments and virtualization infrastructure.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Practical experience with Workspace ONE (UEM, Access, Identity) or comparable endpoint management platforms.
• Knowledge of identity systems, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience in application lifecycle management, including packaging and delivery.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including load balancing, firewalls, and secure access.
• Proven ability to conduct system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
• Experience in maintaining technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with various teams.
