Technical Service Representative, Liquid Water Ink

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Conducting color matching and fulfilling drawdown requests.

• Overseeing the color and standard database.

• Engaging with customers regarding color match and technical inquiries.

• Carrying out laboratory functions when operating outside the lab.

• Providing Technical Service at client locations.

• Managing Work-off, offering press-side technical support, maintaining housekeeping, and preparing monthly reports.

• Administering inventory management and record-keeping.

• Adhering to all safety protocols.

• Dispensing inks, executing color matches, and training/supporting ink room personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• Ability to successfully complete a color vision test.

• Willingness and capability to travel as needed.

• Proficient in effectively matching colors.

• Exhibit outstanding customer service abilities.

• Capable of communicating effectively with colleagues and clients.

• Possess strong written communication, reading comprehension, and basic math skills.

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

• An Associate degree from a two-year college or trade school is a plus.

• Prior ink in-plant experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs is a plus.

• 3-5 years of experience in the ink industry and exposure to commercial printing is a plus.
