Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding service to a key client in the grain processing and chemical manufacturing sector.

• Adopt a hands-on, customer-focused approach to support operations by delivering technical expertise in cooling water and boiler applications.

• Ensure the effective operation of Solenis chemical treatment programs, fulfilling customer expectations, enhancing system performance, and adhering to all pertinent legislative and regulatory standards.

• Sample and test cooling and boiler water systems, ensuring accurate documentation of results.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve out-of-specification results.

• Inspect, maintain, clean, and calibrate chemical dosing and monitoring equipment.

• Collect and send biological samples for laboratory evaluation.

• Conduct disinfection and decontamination activities for cooling towers.

• Install and replace corrosion coupons as necessary.

• Reprogram equipment and manually dose chemicals when required.

• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safe working practices.

• Monitor and ensure sufficient chemical stock levels.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Self-driven with the capacity to independently manage and prioritize work tasks.

• Comfortable performing routine and repetitive tasks consistently.

• Proficient in utilizing computers and digital systems.

• High attention to detail and precision.

• Effective verbal communication skills with the capability to foster strong customer relationships.

• Valid driver's license.

• Trade qualification or a degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
