Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as the PPG representative at various customer sites to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Identify and address issues, implement process enhancements, and maintain quality according to customer specifications.

• Assist with ongoing operations at both the customer's production facility and PPG facilities.

• Effectively communicate to comprehend customer concerns, gather data, take necessary actions, and resolve issues.

• Provide precise reporting to both the customer and the coatings team.

• Collaborate with PPG Technical and Account Management, guiding the activities of the PPG onsite team.

• Offer solutions to customer inquiries, oversee application processes, supervise mix-room operations, and provide hands-on assistance.

• Support the sales team in the commercialization of new opportunities, product launches, process optimization, testing, troubleshooting, trial execution, and process enhancement.

• Adhere to safe work practices and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in wet paint and powder coatings, electrostatic spray, or related industrial/manufacturing coating experience.

• Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience in paint mixing, paint application, or similar tasks.

• Proficient computer skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

• Skills in troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving are essential.
