Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct necessary fluid performance assessments and ensure they are documented accurately.

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems to guarantee proper functionality.

• Collect fluid system samples, perform chemical analyses, and manage routine maintenance and updates.

• Engage daily with operators and relevant management staff at the customer site.

• Assist in gathering data related to fluid usage, performance documentation, and reporting.

• Inform the Sales Representative/Account Manager and the customer of any unusual fluid conditions or mechanical issues.

• Execute procedures for fluid additions and system cleanouts.

• Ensure adherence to system control plans and sump pump-out schedules.

• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of recycling initiatives.

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects initiated by customers and the company.

• Verify that the mechanical components of fluid systems are functioning efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in or around St. Louis, MO.

• At least 1 year of relevant service experience or training in fluid systems and the chemical industry.

• Skilled in conducting technical and mechanical on-site testing.

• Capable of reading, writing, and interpreting documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and drafting routine reports and correspondence.

• Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to interact effectively with customers.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving practical problems.

• Mechanical aptitude and a fundamental understanding of basic chemical concepts.

• Capability to work in an industrial setting.

• Ability to manage moderate to significant physical activity.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• High achievement orientation; motivated to excel and advance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
