Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serves as a safety leader and prioritizes safety in all tasks and responsibilities.

• Comprehends customer needs concerning issues related to products and equipment.

• Provides maintenance services for customer equipment, when applicable, to ensure optimal performance of equipment, packaging films, and shrink bag materials.

• Identifies issues with machinery and packaging film/shrink bag, ensuring proper communication with the relevant staff members.

• Keeps accurate and timely records of work activities and time usage.

• Conducts and completes audits on packaging machines regarding packages/shrink bags.

• Engages in field trials for new packaging materials.

• Aids in the installation and start-up of all packaging equipment designed and sold by Amcor.

• Provides input, as needed, for the design, installation, and start-up of packaging equipment produced by external suppliers or RE&D.

• Responsible for managing personal time and travel and determining the priority of customer engagements.

• Delivers training to customers on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment and Amcor film.

• Supports projects and may lead smaller tasks within a broader project framework.

• Participates in special projects as assigned.

• Builds and maintains effective relationships with customers, sales personnel, and internal Amcor staff.

• Completes KMS reporting within five days, submits expense reports within a month following a business trip, and provides weekly schedules within the specified timeframe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical Degree

• 3-5 years of experience in the food packaging industry (material & machinery)

• Willingness to travel 60% or more and possess a valid driver’s license

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
