This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• **In the role of Technical Service Engineer - Utility Scale, you will**
• Offer field service assistance for utility-scale PV projects throughout the EMEA region.
• Aid in the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of utility-scale inverter systems and associated equipment.
• Conduct site inspections, technical audits, fault diagnostics, and corrective measures in collaboration with customers, EPCs, and internal teams.
• Support MV station, communication, monitoring, and inverter-related tasks within the specified scope of service responsibilities.
• Serve as a customer-facing technical representative during commissioning, service interventions, and warranty activities.
• Deliver structured technical feedback, service reports, issue documentation, and root cause analysis to HQ Service, Quality, and R&D teams.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of service procedures, commissioning checklists, maintenance instructions, and safety documentation.
• Provide technical training to customers, partners, EPC teams, and internal colleagues as necessary.
• Coordinate spare parts, service tools, test equipment, and site readiness requirements for designated projects.
• Support service operations related to strategic agreements, key accounts, and utility-scale reference projects.
• Ensure that service activities are conducted in accordance with safety standards, quality expectations, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Manager, Sales, and HQ Service teams to ensure prompt and professional issue resolution.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of products, service processes, and customer documentation based on field experience.
• **Your qualifications and skills include:**
• A degree or technical education in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in field service, commissioning, troubleshooting, or technical support in solar PV, power electronics, industrial automation, or electrical systems.
• Strong preference for experience with solar inverters and utility-scale PV plants.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, LV/MV systems, communication systems, monitoring platforms, and site commissioning protocols.
• Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams, technical manuals, commissioning protocols, and service documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and capacity to perform under pressure at customer sites.
• A hands-on approach, high safety awareness, and a willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
• Strong reporting skills and the ability to clearly document technical issues.
• Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Polish or another European language is an asset.
• A valid driving license and the ability to work on project sites are essential.
