This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
⢠Deliver on-site technical assistance throughout the installation, commissioning, testing, and handover phases of BESS projects.
⢠Aid senior engineers in overseeing installation processes and ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.
⢠Engage in system commissioning, functional evaluations, and grid connection tasks.
⢠Address on-site technical challenges linked to electrical installation and system integration, escalating more complex issues as necessary.
⢠Assist with project acceptance, resolving punch-list items, and conducting final technical handovers to clients.
⢠Respond to technical inquiries from customers through remote or on-site assistance, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
⢠Diagnose hardware, software, communication, and system performance-related problems.
⢠Oversee after-sales service operations via the service management system, including documentation and closure of work orders.
⢠Collaborate with engineering, product, technical support, and sales teams to address issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
⢠Facilitate customer training on system operation, routine maintenance, and safety procedures.
⢠Manage customer complaints and escalate intricate technical issues as needed.
⢠Gather and relay customer feedback, technical challenges, and field observations for product enhancement.
⢠Keep technical knowledge current through continuous training and certification initiatives.
⢠Aid in spare parts inventory management and maintain service tools.
⢠Bachelor's degree or a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
⢠Typically possess 2ā4 years of experience in field service, commissioning, site engineering, maintenance, or technical support within power systems, inverters, power electronics, electrical infrastructure, MV/HV installations, renewable energy, or a related technical sector.
⢠Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverters, power electronics, MV/HV equipment, power conversion technologies, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
⢠Previous experience with BESS is beneficial but not mandatory.
⢠Background in supporting electrical installation, maintenance, commissioning, or troubleshooting tasks.
⢠Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line schematics.
⢠Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards and grid-connected electrical systems is preferred.
⢠Relevant local language proficiency: C1 (professional working proficiency).
⢠English proficiency: C1 (professional working proficiency).
⢠Possession of a valid driver's license.
⢠Excellent technical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
⢠Practical grasp of electrical systems, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning fundamentals.
⢠Methodical, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious work ethic.
⢠Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
⢠Capability to work independently while seeking guidance and technical support when necessary.

⢠Significant travel across Eastern Europe, estimated at a minimum of 50% of working time.
