This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair activities on laboratory equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality and extended lifespan.

• Detect and evaluate technical issues in devices and systems, troubleshoot efficiently, and perform the necessary repairs.

• Install and set up new equipment, including educating laboratory staff on proper usage and operation.

• Offer technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

• Thoroughly document all tasks completed, including service reports and technical documentation.

• Oversee the procurement, replacement, and inventory management of spare parts as needed.

• Ensure all equipment complies with relevant quality standards and regulations.

• Organize the delivery and installation of equipment to laboratories or medical facilities.

• Assist the sales team by attending national trade fairs and conferences, fostering strong collaboration with sales colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed education in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a related technical field.

• Demonstrated experience in field service engineering, including experience in coordinating team departments.

• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of laboratory diagnostic equipment, preferably within the medical technology or laboratory sectors.

• Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly comprehend and diagnose complex systems.

• Self-driven, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of personal initiative.

• Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English for client interactions and internal team cooperation.

• Readiness to travel extensively throughout Italy and the flexibility to support multiple customer locations as necessary.

• Proficient in IT, including MS Office, service software, and familiarity with laboratory or practice information systems.

• A valid Italian driving license (Category B) is mandatory.
