Technical SEO Specialist – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Execute on-page SEO strategies for over 30 country-specific websites, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.

• Oversee and deliver technical SEO tasks through our project management system, collaborating with IT and development teams.

• Implement schema markup, structured data, and rich results for various formats (Product, Review, Organization, Breadcrumb, FAQ).

• Correct hreflang issues, conduct international SEO debugging, and ensure consistency across ccTLDs and subdomains.

• Maintain sitemap, canonical tags, robots.txt, and indexation integrity for all market versions.

• Make tactical improvements to Core Web Vitals, including image optimization, lazy loading, and addressing render-blocking elements.

• Develop redirect mapping and perform post-launch quality assurance for migrations and category modifications.

• Monitor Search Console daily to identify crawl errors, indexation drops, and ranking challenges.

• Conduct localization quality assurance on SEO components throughout translations.

• Provide light keyword research and content briefing assistance as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably in an e-commerce or agency setting.

• Proficient in Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Semrush.

• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JSON-LD schema, and regex.

• Experience with multi-region and multi-language websites is highly advantageous (including hreflang, ccTLDs, and subdomains).

• Comfortable managing tasks in Jira, Asana, or similar project management platforms.

• Dependable, organized, and consistently meets deadlines.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Native or fluent English speaker.

• Self-driven remote worker with a reliable internet connection.

• Bonus: Familiarity with WordPress/Elementor, Shopify, or custom CMS; experience with product feeds and Merchant Center.
